both of em have cracked on the sides where the pin is

i've bent an axle but not crack one.. there might be a warranty claim there if youre nice about it.

Some very early Vaults had one part of the cage that was crack-prone, they changed the shape slightly. I asked about this when I bought mine - the distributor sent me this picture. The right side of the circled portion - see how that gets thicker? On the older ones, it was all the same thickness. If yours is one of the old ones, I'd imagine you'll be looked after.

yeah think got em when they first came out.
few years ago now.
they've had little use
same area in that pic too on my pedals where theyve split too.
