Pentlands earlier this morning. Didn't see any other bikes (although I did see a couple of tracks) but there were a few walkers out.

(got up early so no-one could see me)

I went for a run around Roman Lakes and Mellor Cross with the mutt at 8:00am. I couldn't be arsed getting a bike out. No mountain bikers but plenty of off road motorbikers.

Been back an hour now from a 2 hour blast in the frozen Peaks. Surprisingly plenty of grip in most places apart from the descents which were taken with plenty of care and an MX foot out style. Snow, ice, 2.4 German rubber and SPDs don't mix well. Good times 🙂 Unfortunately the rest of the day will be an anticlimax.

Yeah been out for a long walk with my dogs over local hill. Forgot to take bloomin camera though ;-( Now looking outside trying to decide whether to take the CX bike out or just be lazy and do nothing!

Went out on the road for 3 hours, it was ****ing sketchy for the first hour! Managed to stay upright, just...

Had a lovely 50 minute semi-urban potter on the new 456 getting home at about 7.30am this morning. Should've taken the camera, but I suspect it wouldn't have matched those first two shots! Didn't see a soul on the offroad bits, though someone had beaten me too it given the fresh tracks in the thawing snow.

Yup. Over to yonder hill un back.

4hrs on the road thanks, it's chuffing cold here but a cracking day now the sun is blasting down.

21 miles on/offroad mixture, beautiful Surrey winters day 🙂

Was out on the roadie for a bit around 07.30ish. Bright, clear but ****in' chilly in North Leeds. *whinge mode* Why can't folk clear the ice/frost from their windscreens/windows before they set off? Windscreen wipers going like buggery but only about a 4" square of clear windscreen with some myopic prat peering out but still doing 40-50mph - bloody stupid!*/whinge mode off*
