Following on from earlier, I am hopeful that the dash cam footage will help the police, however I am aware it might not.
I note that you can claim through MIB for uninsured and hit and runs, has anyone tried?
Only dealt with MIB claims at work, if you have solid proof that the accident occurred but do not have the third party insurance details then you can make a claim under the Untraced Agreement with them, MIB claim forms are available on their website.
Is it for bike or car accident?
There are some caveats to claims with them, in that they will pay the injury claim, but not vehicle damage or vehicle related losses if you are fully comp.
It was a hit and run whilst on the bike and the police are doing what they can to follow up. Just trying to find out what my options are in getting funding for the replacement parts I now need.
When I used to handle claims MIB only dealt with injury claims, that may have changed though
