Think I might be about to overbike myself - can anyone chip in some consoling words of wisdom?

Do you REALLY need more than the 140mm of a Stumpjumper? Be honest. If you ride the Lakes/Scotland or similar every week and maybe visit Alps once a year maybe the Enduro will get the use. If you ride at trail centres regular and Lakes etc once/twice a year, IME I think a Stumpy/Trek Fuel etc will be more than enough.

140 vs 160 aside, has anyone got direct experience of a 2010 Enduro please?

Sorry, did the same with a 2006 S-Works Enduro myself...

But it did make a good doner bike for subsequent steeds.

That Enduro Evo looks great.

However I've got the sneaking suspicion that it's the answer to a question I'm not yet ready to ask.

2010 Enduros ROCK!

Its not over biked at all, it can go and bash out miles and still rip the downs. Its sensibly light but still gnarrrrr.

No reasons to not buy one really unless you really are into XC and do no tech, in which case go buy an Epic or a Top Fuel.

Lots of fun!!!

No, but I didn't buy a Pitch a couple of years ago when they were very cheap.

I regret that.

So go for it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I thought I'd overbiked myself with an Alpine 160, but it was what I really wanted above anything else, even if it wasn't the best bike, and since buying it I haven't doubted it once. Give it a ride, if you still like it, buy it! You'll more likely regret it if you buy something else just because it's slightly better matched with you're riding style. They look pretty sweet too.
