As the title says has anyone else booked the last week in August with Trail addiction?
I'm really looking forward to it but will definitely be slowest rider there!

Will do, stripping my old Enduro this weekend to take some spares with us. One week today and we will be driving through France

If you've not been before, the first day can be a shock to the system, but hang in there and you'll lap it up, . . . . .

make sure your brakes are awesome and your fork is plush . . .

mine weren't that great and my hands suffered for it, careful of chunky grips like Oury's they killed my hands . . .

Be prepared to come off . . .

Got back a couple of weeks ago - had a really got week. Chris who guided for us was excellent and very good at catering for a mixed ability group and finding something everyone seems to enjoy (or tolerate at least.....)

Spare pads and tyres sensible, as is checking nothings woked loose with all the descending - I lost a brake caliper bolt and managed to pull hose out after losing it. Made for an interesting half day with just a front brake - on the long day trip.

We did a day trip 9-6.30pm ish out towards Courcheval direction up Mt Jovet. Then an amazing long descent through alpine meadows and the woods below - one of the best days.

I took knee and elbow pads but only ended up using the knees, we were a bit more XC than some of the other guys out there.

Have a good trip

Destination-X for 18th, the facebook photos show it's just the sort of riding I was looking for.

@donncha I seriously doubt you could be slower than me, pity you are there a week after !
