flying into corfu and roaming around for a couple of weeks...lefkas looks good...fancy seeing if i can still windsurf! also going to have a look at kefalonia...
any tips/suggestions welcome..
Vassiliki on Lefkas is the place to windsurf. The biking is quite good there too. We had a day mountain biking on kefalonia just get the ferry from Vass, that was a real good day finished off by dolphins escorting our ferry home. We sailed with Neilson hols but Club Vass may be able to hire you some gear if you just want to sail for the day. The wind generally doesnt come till mid afternoon so we rode in the morning and windsurfed in the afternoon.If you need any other info that I may be able to help you with, mail in profile.

Had a good time there windsurfing & riding 3 or 4 years ago. Riding was fairly time for the most part, but a few decent bits of rocky singletrack (and lots of rocky doubletrack). Good fun though.
Lovely island, went a few years ago just after the earthquake that hit. A few of the roads were cracked but passable. Some great beaches ESpecially Portokatsiki (sp?) - I'd go back 🙂
Had plenty of fun jumping off rocks into the sea at Kathisma beach on the other side of Lefkas, absolutely stunning view on the way down to the beach and sufficient swell for a bit of wake-boarding.
Spent a rather debauched holiday there with Sshokwave when we were starting out with mbr. Messy.
Yep biked and windsurfed quite a few times at Vass (end of may last time). Great windsurfing if eric is out to play and good biking. Not too much single track but plenty of jeep tracks and a big climb up to the White Church. Neilson are very good at Vass.
