All the trails open? I see the facilities are largely closed. More importantly... how wet?

I went with the family yesterday. Cafe closed but bike shop open and bike hire available. Portaloos on site. All the trails were open but very wet yesterday as it had been raining all morning. Still running great though.

Do you have to book parking in advance? Or can you turn up on the day?

You can just turn up on the day. Llandegla has a ticket system but CyB just operated as normal. You pay for parking on the way out.

I was wondering what to do this weekend. A trip to CyB might be just the ticket.

CyB trails all drain v well - rock or gravel - so you don't need to worry about conditions

I went there today. Rode old Red Bull, Fox and Beast. Trails in fantastic condition, few puddles but mostly perfect amounts of slidiness on the rocks. A fantastic day out.

As above, cafe closed. Bring lots of water. I also took my dirtworker as the bike wash is closed.

CyB is one of the most weather proof trail centres I've ridden so wet or not, it'll be awesome.

Does anyone have a GPX of a route that takes in the best bits of the various trails at CYB?
I rode MBR a few months ago and found the last few miles on fire roads to be a disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable ride.

Chrispy - sounds like you missed off the final decent (after you cross over the bridge you turned left and went back along the blue trail rather than go right to climb up to the ‘beginning of the end’. If you have the knowledge you can loop up the best bits of MTB and dragons back and even a bit of off piste. Worth having trail forks app to see everything
