I've been using the 2.1 xc's and like them as they are really fast rolling and grip well on the rear , i was looking at one of the others for the front but wanted to know if they are a big or small 2.35 as i'm only using Mavic 717 rims plus are they any good ?
I'm running a 2.35 am all conditions one and it's bigger than a maxxis 2.35 but not massive.
i ran the 2.35 am/4x over the summer and it isn't that big but it was shite in the wet.

I tried the 2.35" 4x as mentioned above. Tested on dry, fast Surrey hills singletrack last summer on a rather nice Whyte Ti as it happens. Rolled well, nice cushioning and good cornering. Not excellent, but good.
For a tyre of that size, I would still choose a Conti Rubber Queen.
