Andy, if the people who have put you on their 'list' have the same approach to selling as Tony, they will be doing you a favour!

A reasonable explanation is a fair ask imo.

So where do people keep their "do not deal with list"?

I hope it's not on a cloud based storage site, just in case they can't get access to the internet for a couple of weeks.

I keep mine on an actual Cloud.

I live in Yorkshire, so normally if I want to see it, I have to go to Scotland or Wales 🙂

So how long is it reasonable to wait for someone to dispatch something from the classifieds?

I'm still waiting after 3 weeks....

Eviljoe, did you also buy something from Tony or somebody else?

No not Tony, someone else.

Not interested in a naming or flaming, just asking for an opinion from folks.

Seller has communicated, just not posted...

Well then it depends if the seller has given a reasonable explaination of any delays. Within a week is usually doable for most I should imagine.

Right, **** it, I say we burn him. He's aware of this thread, and yet the buyers are still in the dark. No excuses. Most of us would have accepted his first response, we can all make mistakes, but to just then do nothing is pretty poor. I'll add him to realman and superfly1982.

No reply to emails, phone, nothing! No refund either.

Looking back over the thread, one person assumed that a pinkbike classified ban for the seller was for fraud, despite no evidence, even after mailing the staff, went off half cocked and tried as hard as possible to turn this into a witch hunt.

Not pleasant.

Yeah, what a witch hunt eh when he was clearly in the right all along. People are too quick to judge yada yada yada....

Can the old-bill do anything or does it have to be 3 years or sommat daft for them to consider it fraud/theft?

Or will they fob it off as a civil-matter?

i still can't see it as a straight scam--just don't stack up-- the guy could be having some problems-- money/mental-- appreciate that if your out of pocket its a pisser, but surely there has to be more to it ?

The issue a few days ago was that Tony was offline for a week, he came online very briefly to tell us that (it was about that time that one or two on here reckoned he was top bloke and us three were witch hunting jerks and idiots ( ok, jerks and idiots was just me :)). Hopefully nothing too serious has happened to him but I would gladly sit down with him and talk through his woes, only cost him £30!

I assume we still have no resolution on this issue then

What a shame he has behaved like this

i dont get it why folk return to defend themselves ...it is not as if the lie* wont out in the end

* Who knows what the reaosn is but folk have paid him and not got their stuff despite his promsies/assurances

Some have got stuff, some haven't so it's not as if he is a scammer is it really.

Postmans' been.........

just bills, no bars.

Am I right in thinking that if a username is underlined, that the member is logged in? If so, I've noticed Tony has been logged in for the last couple of days...
