zone asks a good question in this thread:
130mm forks on a hardtail?
and it got me thinking - why do i need 130mm forks on a hardtail?
and then i got thinking - other than the 'summer season', does anyone make a hardtail frame that'll sit with a nice slack head angle with 100mm forks?
(the ragley pig is designed for 140mm forks)
and then i got thinking - if i'm thinking of getting a bike like a summer-season, why not get a summer season?
so, my question to 'season' owners is this: does the plain-gauge tubing make the frame too stiff/heavy?
(do i buy one, just so i can weigh it in for scrap?)
