I fancy some Yari's and have found some "29+" model cheap, but don't need the 29+ width. I've been looking for a while and the 29+ model are always cheaper then the normal 29 version, any reason why/not to buy them? (I want to upgrade them to lyrik std at some point)
I run a set.
They are approximately 10mm longer AtoC than a non 29 plus model so my 130mm fork has an AtoC of a 140mm fork.
In stock form I.e. non Debonair and basic damping they are a little agricultural. I swapped the air shaft for a Debonair and the damper for a Charger 2.1 and the fork now is basically a Lyrik.
I’m actually on the lookout for a second pair .... where have you seen them “cheap”?
Depends...you running a 26" or 27.5" wheeled bike just now?
Interesting about the a-c as I was hoping to increase my front end travel, that would put it past the recommended max, hmmm.
DB, I’m running 29er...
