I have some brand new shimano rotors that came with my bike but I've been bought some new Hope tech X2 evo brakes for Christmas. Will the rotors be ok or should I bite the bullet and buy some Hope rotors?

Cheers

I hope not...I'm using SRAM rotors on my hopes...SRAM are 180/160 and the hope calipers are 183/160...seem to be working.

Hope not as in I hope there are no issues!

Not sure you will have to ask Mark.

I can't use Saab disc brakes in my Ford Fiesta though.

I'm deliberately using a Shimano 180mm rotor on my Hopes as it has a deeper braking surface so the pads don't overhang the spokes and cause judder, you should be fine as long as they're the correct diameter.

Also depends on what brake mount you got?

I'm using 160mm rotors straight onto post mount forks and frame so I thought I didn't need a mount?
