Give a hungry adult wolverine a handful of amphetamines, hit it with a wasp's nest, then catapult it into a playgroup.

Guaranteed instant mayhem.

EDIt: Oh. Mountain mayhem. ๐Ÿ™„

Narrow tyres in case of rain would be my 2p - two choices- Schwalbe black sharks or continental XC 1.5s

have you got a nice big tent to sit in; comfy chairs - I liked the tents that had a brazier by the front entrance (although mixing fire and tents is usually bad m'kay)

me and a mate are going to have a laugh this year. We've had a total of 5 people drop out of a 4 man team! I'm gunna

* cover my bikes in lights, spokey dokees for the night lap.
* Drinking in between.
* Attach a stereos/speakers to the bike
* maybe do a lap in full body armour
* competition for the slowest lap

I've done it semi serious in previous years so looking forward to taking it easy

Tricky, can I join your team? I learned a new word this week - "tapering" as in tapering your training pre race. My team are doing it aaargh! I prefer your approach.

Oi - it's only Strawberry Blonde Dave who's doing that. Anyway, how's your running training going? Rules are youngest team member does the run...

Take the loudest generator known to man & make sure you run it all night both friday & saturday. Don't worry about everyone else trying to sleep around you, they'll love it!
We had it couple of years ago-a team were running it to run a microwave & lights!

Beer, BBQ and chimenea and 4 mates to ride round whilst you get wrecked the more mates.

If you do insist on riding, take some skinny mud tyres on an orange 5 and wear a pink bra for a few laps.
