Got great deal from sunset with my 5 pro. Push for the performance pack and hope headset and bb for free if your payin cash. I got em to throw in m4s cheap and a hope seat clamp coz i payed up front rather than leavin a deposit. Be a bit cheeky and you may be surprised at the deal you can get.

Why do people assume they are automatically entitled to a discount? Still baffles me.

Would you do the same haggling over a pint of milk at the corner shop? No, because that's how much it costs. See that ticket on the bike? That's how much it costs....

Probably because they can start a thread and have two dealers offering discount in a couple of hours?

In the same vane Capt, would you expect to pay list price for a car or the full asking for a house?

No, because the same discount would be about 5p on a pint of milk. When you're spending a couple of grand, it seems logical to ask. And I've had a discount in my deli 🙂

cash costs more for shops to bank. you will get a better deal if you use a debit card. its a flat fee of about 60p to the shop instead of a percentage. i have even told guys i would do them a better deal if they go and bank the barrow of cash they came in with and use a debit card. its not like we can hide cash anymore. all that aside we have a few 5s in in an 18inch give us a call and im sure we can do you a deal. joe www.cycle-wolrd.co.uk

Why do people automatically assume they can't get a discount on something that costs £2,500? That baffles me.

OP - Give Bikeactive a bell, they're nice guys.

See that ticket on the bike? That's how much it costs....

Its an invitation to treat and "is a mere declaration of willingness to enter into negotiations"
