Thinking of investing to cut down on chain suck when its realy shitty.Any one used them in anger?
Yup, not sure it does a lot for chainsuck tbh, not really what it's for, though it could help.
What he said ^
Works wonders for chain slap tho, the quiet took a little getting used to!
No more chain slap and chain devices are now redundant.....

Important to ignore people who peddle this nonsense.
pedal, surely?
I lasted about 2 rides before I put a chain device on... Though it does seem like top guide alone is working almost as well as a dual guide so that's progress.

No... but ok then
run an xtr and an xt clutched rear mech and never had any chain suck on both the yeti and c456. excellent bits of kit
I have been running an XTR for about 12 months, it definitely helps with chain suck, although doesn't prevent it totally. The extra tension in the mech helps pull the chain of the chainring if it starts to suck.
