Ive seen the rekons for sale second hand on ebay but not in the shops but nothing else

Ideally looking for when maxxis will be releasing (if at all) the dhf/dhr/hr2 or forekaster in 29 x2.6

I’m sure I saw that Tweeks had 29x2.6 Forekasters listed when I bought my 27.5x2.35’s a few months might be worth checking their site or giving them a call

I have a 29*2.6 forekaster but it comes up quite small (as is the forekaster way).

Unless you really want forecasters you'd be better off getting DHF 2.5s - they come up at least as big if not bigger.

also, unless the extra size makes a big difference, forekasters are shit.

Ive only seen excellent reviews of the forekaster

The dhf 2.5 is too heavy for me!

I like the Forekasters! Granted they aren’t super grippy but they are fast as hell, have enough grip in most of the conditions I ride in and are nice and light yet seemingly pretty tough. I can imagine they aren’t great on steep, loamy trails but that’s not what they’re for. It’s a fast rolling and grippy XC/Trail tyre and if you remember that and don’t think of it as a lighter weight downhill/enduro tyre, I don’t think you can go too far wrong with it. Lots of bikes I’ve seen for 2019 are being spec’d with them so a few people must think they’re alright!
