So my latest hairbrained scheme is that I will sell a couple of bikes to pay off some credit card debt and make use of our cycle-to-work scheme (Cyclescheme) to get myself a nice new bike tax-free and interest-free.
Wondering if anyone has seen any good bargains out there? I'd like something a little bit special - I'd been looking at the older Santa Cruz Hightower which can be had for £3k or the Rocky Mountain Instinct BC for £2.8k. Both are very tempting. Anything else out there I should be considering?
If I could get a YT on our Cycle to Work scheme I'd almost certianly go for that, but typically they're not available on Cyclescheme. Grrr!
Try GCI (green cycle initiative) as your cycle to work provider, YT accept them. Unfortunately you've just missed out on a YT mega sale.
Thanks Hoggorm. We've already set up a deal with Cyclescheme, and having seen the pain they had to go through to get this set up I doubt they'll be too keen to set up another one just for me 😮
If only there was a way to trade vouchers between schemes!
What did I miss in the mega sale? I saw an add on Facebook for "up to E1000 off", but on clicking through it was only E100 off. I'm guessing that's what I missed then? 🙂
