Why are so many full builds coming with SRAM these days? It's a genuine PITA for those of us who hate the stuff.

agreed colin , sram really do make some crap these days.

brake pistons out of brittle pish , shifters that dont like mud and are full of plastic self destructing shear pins.

gave my last sram bits away to rusty mac on here.

hateful stuff.

I'm just glad 99% of folk don't feel the need to stick all their stuff up in the bike forum before taking it to the classifieds.

In which case SRAM are cheaper

Any SRAM speccing on a new bike is a cost cutting exercise for the manufacturer. It's cheap OE, but then the consumer pays later with OTT aftermarket prices. Mad innit!
