I've downloaded the first version and I'me trying to "cut" holes out of a shape. Using push/pull just seems to remove only a partial section. Is there a tool where you can highlight on a shape within a shape and cut the whole thing out?

been ages since I used it but I think you push pull all the way through then click and deletye the final slither?

Aternatively can you create the inner part as a solid then subtract it?

Thats what I do in AutoCAD

Is the first shape 2D or 3D? If 3D, you may need to make it a group or component before you can use the intersect tool.

Thanks all. I push it back to a 3D object which kept the areas I wanted to erase 3D. Then I erased all the lines and fill of the raised areas. Sorted!

I've now got the 2D object shaped the way I want it, but can't pull it into a 3D object. I'm thinking there's a small point somewhere that I need to erase maybe? Weird, as push/pull has worked on everything else...
