Fell on my side with my Panasonic TZ8 in my pocket at the beach on saturday. Now the camera will now switch on properly. It tries 3 times and the lens on moves about 5 mm before showing the fault SYSTEM ERROR(ZOOM). Ive so far tried a few methods including trying to suck out any sand possibly lodged in the lens. Im thinking a warranty repair would be pointless as Its going to be seen as misuse and deem my warranty voided. ?Your views please.
