Hi,

Off to Bude for a couple of weeks camping at Wooda Farm at the end of July. Mostly a family/beach/surfing type break but we're taking the bikes too. Question is, which one should I take? Is it worth taking the full susser or should i take the hybrid/roadie? Realistically i'll be getting up early and going for a blast before the nippers wake. The chances of driving anywhere for some decent offroad action are slim so unless the coastal tracks are too bumpy would I be better off leaving the susser at home?

Any advice much appreciated - cheers

Take the road bike, some interesting country/coastal roads round those parts, not much for a full susser tho....

If you're feeling strong try the coast road down past Millook (few miles south of widemouth). The North Cornwall Tor goes through there; it's steep...

Oooh - 1 for each side. Cheers both. I'll get in trouble if i'm out too long and I'm not too sure i like the sound of the Tor! I'll have a look at that coastal path on Google maps - ta!
