Apologies it's quite OT.

Want to know if anyone has tried to change the size of the rear sprockets on the 2 speed S version.

And whether anyone knows if the crank arm dust caps are standard size - or where I can get replacements.

Ta

Yup - the problem with changing the rear sprocket (I presume it's the bigger one you want to change) is if you go too big it hits the chainstay - it's do-able but to go above 17t you need to file a bit off the frame.

Dust caps are standard size - have you got the allen key bolts or the older hex head ones?

Thanks. Actually it's the smaller one. I cycle the embankment everryday and as much as I know how good spinning is for my legs - i need some more inches on each crank rotation. Is it a standard shimano/sram freehub? so i can use any sprockets...?

You can in theory use any sprockets, but I don't know anyone who makes smaller than 12t - the 11t ones fit to the end of the freehub not onto the body.

Have you already got the 54t chainset?
