As per title really. Got a few days up there shortly so be handy to know if anywhere has any route maps or local knowledge etc...

There's a bike shop in Portree - only been in once to hire bikes for me and a few friends - the hire bikes were awful, but I'm told they've bought a new fleet now. Portree also has at least one outdoorsy type shop. There's another, very exclusive and expensive in in Struan - never been in it though. Worth Googling Skye MTB - shows lots of threads mostly on here pertaining to routes.
Not really.
There's a wee bike shop - very basic hire bikes - in Portree which had very basic spares but I wouldn't rely on it for anything more than inner tubes. A reasonable number of shops do a bit of outdoor kit as well but no specialist shops as far as I know.
Nearest bike shops and kit shops will be Fort William.
