Call me paranoid, but would you go to the trouble of buying the same colour bikes to give the illusion that you don't have as many bikes as you really have as you wheel them into the (city) streets to go for a ride?

I have a matt carbon road bike, and am about to buy a Kinesis racelight. I was going to buy black for the reason above, but I do like the blue....

Little paranoid.

I'm aware of who is about when I'm going in or out with the bike. Had some dubious characters pull up next to me at lights once...bike on the rack and been asked if was an expensive bike! I have heard of people being followed home and then having bikes stolen.

I think just common sense applies. Get the blue.

Mr K, you need to get some kind of perspective.. Perhaps turn on BBC3, chill out and watch Glastonbury..

+1

Actually, +1,000,000

I take it that the name on the frame is meant to be ironic?

Suggest you google.

Very good bikes, about 9.5kgs as you see it. Its a deliberate winter bike, no summer racer.

My anti thievery colorway would be frame covered in insulation tape (or maybe not) chain off, bike laid on the ground and the whole thing, tyres and all, sprayed in 6" rattle-can stripes of poo-brown, yellow and pink. I'd probably try and make a really nice job of it though.

I'm sure it's a great bike, but it looks like a shitter, which is what you want right? Mud guards give it extra ugg points and you could de-sticker the rims to complete the 'don't steal me - have that much nicer looking bike over there' look.

Paint the bike matt black and scrawl 'Apollo' down the side with a pen knife or compass, that'll do the trick.
