I know it’s only 1 year old. I had some superficial damage and got it sand blasted. However I wasn’t happy with what the guy did so now have a raw frame.

It’s the specialized Epic Evo 2011

It’s now raw and want it sprayed like:

White black like the new 2012 expert.

I’ve just spoken to Argos and they said if they had to mask it then it would be in excess of £300 to do. Any other options? I want a professional job!

£300 seems a bit steep, Orangina's Epic was blasted, painted and laquered for £120 and its a top job too...

Did you not like the lifetime warranty? 'cos you've voided it now if it was longer...

Orangina's Epic was blasted, painted and laquered for £120
did that involve masking off areas and a second colour? Sounds like it would be a time consuming job on something as awkward shaped as a bike frame.

That comes across as a lot more harsh than it is intended.

300 notes!!!!! WTF are they doing? Spraying it, or gold plating it? If its already stripped, then take it to a powder coaters and it'll cost you £100 tops! Its a lot tougher finish than paint too.

Where are you based? I use Colourtech in Wigan, who do a fantastic job

I'd want around £300 for all that masking up! 😕
Two colours, clear lacquer etc etc etc!
Power coat and transfers could be an option!
I've got to admit, the black and white does look nice on the newer model.

Yep!

A good single pack acrylic aerosol or get a body shop to use 2 pack! 2 pack would be much tougher!

rickmeister - Pics?

Mustard - Yep alittle harsh! 😉 Although I love warranty I couldn't be seen riding a bike that looked like its been through A nuclear war.

Just to add it has a brand new set of bearings in whilst raw. Can it be powder coated if these were covered? Also want a professioanl job.

Im in Bath btw.
