Pressed buy on a CX bike yesterday and collected it. Stripped it down, replaced cables, bar tape, bottle cages, swapped wheels and fitted gravel tyres. Just got to sort rear canti and index the gears.

Got it for a decent price, and it was just 40 miles away. I've stripped it today and rebuilt it, just checking everything is greased as the chap hadn't used it in two years. It came with Fulcrum 7's and Gators, so these will get serviced and left for road use. I've used my old Aksiums that haven't had much use, and fitted Gravel tyres.

It needed a darn good t-cut/G3, but it's come out smashing, really pleased. Spent about 6 hours on it so far.

PS the grass needs a cut, but bike came first.

Oh and my first STI's on a road bike - my other road bikes are classics with down tube shifters !
