Wow, what a difference! Been using the original Exposure Maxx bar mounted light with a Mk1 Joystick and have never really been comfortable with the light spread and have really struggled to ride fast with it. I always assumed it was my poor night vision but I picked up a Mk5 joystick for a £100 at the cycle show at the weekend and the difference is amazing. Much better depth perception and visibility on corners etc. The newer Joystick is so good you can pretty much ride with it alone on full power - not something you could hav done with the Mk 1. I was going to spend the extra on a Diablo, but I can't see the point it it if you're using it with a bar mounted light as well.
I'm also glad I didn't spend money upgrading to a better bar mounted system, if you want real world improvement I reckon a decent helmet mounted system makes more difference for less investment.
