Off the back of the question about selling a used helmet I wondered if the good folks of STW had an opinion on the risks of dropping a helmet in transit (was mentioned in the other thread)
Basically I was packing my kit and my full facer blew off the roof of the car and landed on the road. Looks fine bar a tiny scrape and didn't think twice about it, but comments like 'how do you know a second hand one hasn't been dropped' don't fill me with confidence!

They're stronger that and wouldn't bother me.

Wouldn't bother me either, they are just polystyrene cushions anyway. It's easy to tell just by looking at it if it's ****ed
