Basically i want a set of vans, but more trapsing through mud friendly and longer lasting sole.

So i want comparably hard wearing/protective upper to thin vans and a sole with a similar feel, so thin, flexible, grippy, re-positionable.

I'm a little confused what the freeriders and barons are like in comparison to each other. It's obvious barons have tougher upper, but which has the thinner sole? The baron is meant be a in between the impact and freerider, but by molesting the soles in shops, barons seemed the most thin and flexible.

How's sizing too? Stick to regular size? How's space in width at the toe area?

Cheers.

Get these mate, I guarantee you won't be dissapointed. They dry pretty quick, they just feel like normal trainers and they stick to your pedals like shit to a blanket. I abuse mine and they've lasted at least 7 mths now and show no real signs of wear. I ride 4 days a week at least.
