Is it normal to wait more than 2 days for payment. I have sent an invoice and this morning a polite email requesting payment so I can post the item off? These are bike related items 😉

I wouldn't send without payment, up to you though!
There'll be guidelines on ebay re payment times, don't think there's a deadline as such though, I wouldn't be concerned after 2 days.
It always surprises me when people delay payment, especially for bike stuff, as I assume some people are just like me and want their new shiny bits yesterday.
Not everyone is like that. Just chill and report them if 7 days goes past.
I reckon some people bid on stuff & then wait for pay day before paying
