This thread nearly got me in all kinds of trouble today, planned a route around Kentmere and saw Shipman Knotts. As I recognised the word 'Shipman' I figured I must have heard someone say it was a good ride, so put it in the route.

It was only when pushing up onto Harter Fell that I started hearing 'Shipman Extreme!' in my head and wondered what the **** I was doing!

I'm pretty sure I would have died on Shipman Knotts.

Yes. Second one probably straight away. I might have to work a couple of time on the left hand corner of the first one. Hard to say without a real view.
