So...
I'm 6'1 and looking for an alpine. I took a 17/21 for a test ride and loved how easily the back wheel came up and how short the bike felt.
Would a 15/23 be far too small? I'm not looking to take it for 30 mile rides and I can cope with a horrible climb for an awesome decent ๐
you need to find a massive seatpost! ๐
Yeah but if the seat post is too long you can't get the seat all the way down!
it's longer as well as shorter - thereby lackign the quality you are looking for?
Good point Al! Maybe the 15/21 then?
Why do you want a 15 though?
17 is small enough. (Mine was for me at 6'1" - bent seatpost)
Because I might have to wait until September for a 17... ๐ณ
ah yah, an that would make it a 17"
17s are small ickle things 15s are for mijitz only.
agreed, i'm 5'10" and the 17 is perfect and still really small.
17/21? 15/23? Do these sizes exist? As far as I was aware the options are:
15.5" / 21"
15.5" / 22"
17" / 22"
17" /23"
I'm 6' tall and have a 17/23, it's ace, I tried Scruff's 17/22 and it felt too short but then I wanted it for all round riding.
For reasons I'll probably never work out it's about to go up for sale thanks to bike 2 work being introduced at my place.
