I've got Di2 with a 1x11 set up using road shifters. Due to the profile of my bars the XT Di2 display doesn't sit properly on them and looks crap!
I don't like the Di2 junction boxes that go under the stem so was wondering if it's possible to run the Di2 as follows?
Connect the left shifter into the right shifter.
Connect the right shifter to a bar end junction box/charging point.
Connect the bar end junction box to the junction box at the BB.
I'd try it out with my bike but the Di2 wires are internally routed in the bars and I don't fancy having to remove them to try it.
Anyone know if it'll work?
It should work fine, unless you have the R785 levers. Here are a few other options.
Yep that’ll work fine. Di2 doesn’t care where anything is plugged in as long as it’s all plugged together
forgot about the r785! I’ve got them and the single port is a pain in the arse but as long as you’ve got anything else it will be fine
Excellent, thanks guys. I've got the R8000 series shifters so enough ports to use.
I'll get the wires I need ordered.
