You're [s]being deliberately argumentative[/s] demonstrating what I said was crass insensitive victim-blaming so lets just leave it.
Fair enough. ๐
Although I'm sure you'll come back with a smart arse comment.
Damn straight ๐
But then I apply common sense when I post on here.
My favoured option is better and more training.
I haven't received a single bit of training on how to ride a bike, nor have I received any training on how to drive around cyclists.
I don't think I'm unique in this.
Training is available free in some cities, including London:

I think the issue is that most people don't think they need it or just can't be arsed (and I'm guilty of that myself).
kimbers - Memberthat woman in the audi is just horrible
She also illustrates perfectly the attitudes people have if we "dare" to stray into "their" lane! And why segregation alone is not the answer and readjusting peoples attitudes is more important than infastructure changes.
That sort of logic is dangerous and ends up with someone being run off the road (in extreme circumstances)
๐ Sadly another cyclist death in Croydon today

At least 4 more down this morning - Gloucester road in Bristol (no other vehicle involved) Vauxhall Bridge, millbank and Bow roundabout (Fatality)
Vauxhall bridge and millbank are separate incidents.

And a female cyclist has died after a collision with an HGV at Bow Roundabout
Just seen that news scaled, 3rd death at Bow in 2 years. It really is time for TFL and the mayor to act. Large vehicles do not mix well with vulnerable road users.
