Considering some new brakes for a potential new ride and I'm undecided.

I've been using M8120's on the hardtail and they have generally been good until the temperature dropped and despite pads and bleeding the dreaded wandering bite point has hit, especially bad on the rear.

So a new year may bring a new steed and maybe new brakes.

Currently what I'm looking at comes with G2 RSC, is it worth the extra £100 for Code RSC's or the extra £180 for Hope V3 E4's?

I’d pay £100 extra for Codes over the G2’s assuming you need powerful brakes. I’ve got Code R’s and they’re a useful step up over Guide R’s. Lever is nicer and way more solid and there’s both more power and resistance to fade (all U.K. trails / ranger path down Snowdon / some uplift at Antur, BPW & BMCC. Not been to the alps to try them out unfortunately though.

Not sure what the Hopes would add - more bling perhaps?
