ok ive got tech x2 hope brakes, ive just got new pads this morning, there in but i cant get that little bit of wire back on the end of that rod that goes through the top of the pads, its got a big leg and a small, which ones goes through what lol, i cant get it back on at all 🙁

Okay, long leg in the centre goes into the hole, the loop should then be on the side facing the centre of the bike otherwise it won't be able to open up and slide over the pin.It sometimes helps to twist it as you're sliding it over the pin.
