Between the Dubbs junction and junction below ( Limefitt R, Long Mire L). I saw a digging machine and thought they'd been trying to 'improve' the track, but another rider thought it was water erosion - either way it's all churned up instead of being firmly set rocks ๐Ÿ™

I think not ๐Ÿ™ I've just remembered, we'd ridden up the BW past Dubbs Res just before, and the really rocky bit beside the res had had tons of dark gravel dumped on it haphazardly, obviously with little thought, as the recent rain had cut deep channels in it,leading me to believe it's the usual, "Be seen to be doing SOMETHING" on the cheap ๐Ÿ™

There seems to be a culture of "fire fighting" in the Lakes, rather than looking at the cause of all the erosion (Blocked gullys causing water damage) ๐Ÿ™

Maybe its up to us the users to report this?before it becomes much worse, and therefore more expensive to fix. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The section by Dubbs is bedrock, admittedly deeply fissured. They dumped a load of crap on top to fill in the channels, and the first bit of rain started washing it off again.

The lower part of Garburn was something of a boulder field, but quite stable and rideable with luck. Now it's a churned mass of rocks and soil/debris, possibly work in progress before being rolled flat ๐Ÿ™
