I would like to hear about riders experiences as an un-supported group and in particular the hire of a local mtb guide.

The snow storm that killed 43 people last October:

Perhaps start with Pokhara MTB club if you wanted leads for a good guide, or email the Yak Attack organisers who will also have good contacts.

Or Google dawn til dusk kathmandu, sonam or chimi will sort u out a guide. As will tangi a French Corsican who has a business out there for about 10 years, from memory Nepal MTB xc or look him up on fb tango rebours. Sonam and chimi are from the Annapurna circuit region.

Advice? Busy bee's bar on Pokhara's lakeside is the best bit of advice I can give!

Tangi is pokhara mtb club, same. Good bloke.
