I seem to end up with battered ankles after rough descents so was thinking about getting something to protect the *insides* of my ankles against the cranks/chainstays.
Seem to be various things available
but the simple (and cheap) THE ones look like the might do the job. Has anyone tried them?
The High version of the 5.10 Impact shoes is what you need ๐
I bought the POC ones but haven't actually worn them yet so not much help :p
I'm riding on SPDs and very happy with my Specialized shoes. BUT boney ankles (one broken and now overlarge), turned out feet, wide stays...
The Specialized Trail 110/120 would probably do the job but my current shoes have a fair bit of life in them.
