I was on a ride in Spain a couple of years ago and managed to slash a hole in my tubeless set up. It was too big to seal normally but the guide had a pack of these hairy little things called "anchovies" (because they kinda looked like one!) that he put in the hole and it sealed up nicely. I got another year's riding out of it! ๐ Has anyone seen them for sale anywhere? I can't find them at all!!
My LBS sell em as do most shops around me, try Freeborn in Horsham or Quest adventures in Worthing or dare i say it Just Riding Along on the web.
Thanks! I tried Just Riding Along- couldn't find them on there! Are they called 'anchovies' or is that a nickname?
Think its a nickname. I'm just off out but will check back this evening and if you've not got an answer I'll have a root round in my tool box for mine and give you the details, but I'm sure someone else will know.
They might be called tyre leaches ๐
Thanks! Just tried my LBS which, unfortunately because I live in London, is Cyclesurgery, and they were rubbish! Depends on who you get on the phone sometimes I guess...
These ones are best in my experience.

Weldtite do them too, in theory the weldtite ones will do slightly bigger holes but I find them quite faffy and liabile to pulling out:

There's a panaracer kit that makes a decent repair but it's more of a "back home" than trailside as it works best with the tyre off the rim so you can get at the inside.

Hope this helps.
Fat Elvis you've played an absolute blinder! Excellent, thank you very much for your help. Just purchased the innovations ones. Job done, nice one!

They are the best way to fix a snake bite type hole on the bead of a tubeless tyre I've come across.
Never leave home without them.
