An extra trailbuilding session is taking place this Sunday 31st January
to fix some of the damage caused by the wet weather over Christmas.
Loads of water damage to fix: we really need lots of help to keep on top
of the winter carnage. We have big plans for new stuff this year but we
can't get onto that until we have the current trails fixed.
Bring sturdy footwear, preferably steel toe caps, packed lunch and
weather appropriate clothing.
We have gloves, hi viz and tools.
Meet at the bike hire car park at 10 am
We usually finish at about half 3-4 o'clock but if you need to head away
earlier that's fine.
Sorry, we have had to cancel all this weekend's trailbuilding because of gales.
We were thinking of riding there tomorrow - what's closed?
Good on you Neil for wanting to put something back. Hope the weather is better for next time. You didn't seem to get any offers for help from the STW mountain biker gang. That's a real surprise 😆

Hello Neil, are you rescheduling for next Sunday then ? I might try and get up, I do enough riding there so happy to help out a bit. Where's the main trail damage ?

the forest is closed to users - forestry commission have asked people to stay out / off trails

Not sure yet but will let you know. Regular trail build days are 3rd Saturday of the month, meeting outside the bike hire at 10.30. Bring your boots, butties and bike!
Car parks were closed earlier in the day but the main one re-opened around 3.Cafe wasn't open.
