As my neurological condition gets worse, now I can now only walk a few steps and am unable to cycle for more than a mile with nothing even remotely like a climb, whenever I start to feel sorry for myself I try to pull myself together and think about my wonderful supportive wife, go for a ride on my off-road mountain trike (with electric assist) and realise that I have lots to live for. I believe that your troubles are still your troubles and looking at stories of people worse off than you won't make them any better but when reading about Tom Pidcock's amzzing ride I came across this story about Juan Jose Florian. An extraordinary tale of resilience.

I did do a search to see if this had been posted before, and couldn't find anything.

Christian?

I did the HR in 2012 and 2013 (just the one week each time), and Christian was pretty inspirational.
