I've gone tubeless on my 29er with Tubeless Nobby Nics.
I put 2oz of sealant, but I can't hear it sloshing around inside. I was wondering is that enough or should I not hear any sloshing?
put more in
I put 80-100ml in most of mine - not sure what that is in old money though.
Oh! Ta Guys, sounds like I need more then!
Latest advice is 1 pint per tyre for 26" and 1 1/4 pints per tyre for 29" HTH ๐
I use a 3oz coffee cup to measure it, about 90-100ml.
Stans supplies a cup and its 2 of those. There should be enough to slosh around the inside otherwise there will be nothing to seal the hole. I had a flint cut on a descent on SDW. Tyre went down a bit. Sealed nicely with sealent, just needed to pump some air back in and it lasted the next 70 miles. First puncture, if you can call it that, in over 2 years. +1 for real UST tyres
wombat - you in stan's sales dept ?
yup 2 cups of stans in mine
