Any real world experience? Are they worth the extra money? AM7s seem to get mixed reviews on ChainReaction
I have both. Well when I wore out my 41s, I bought the new 7s. The 7s feel like they have a stiffer sole. Maybe it's started to soften, but I don't think they are as grippy as the old ones. They aren't worth the extra anyway
Do they feel much lighter once there on?
I never noticed the old ones being particularly heavy. So, Im not sure.
I find the SPD ones (45s) heavy though
No experience with the AM7's (doesn't seem to be much real world info out there - make of that what you will). I recently had this dilemma though.
In the end as I also needed some new pedals I went for more AM41's and the money saved partially paid for some new Vaults. I just couldn't justify the extra on the AM7's when the 41's do everything I need them to.
Slightly off topic, but I am finding the Vault's are a lot grippier than my old Nano's, which I also thought were great.
