[#1496826]

So - I'm in Lincoln for the weekend at the parents. It's a nice-ish day so I thought I'd jump on the bike and ride over to the coast. Being old, fat and lazy I don't want to ride there AND back so I thought I'd catch the train from Skegness back into Lincoln.

BUT - there's only one train a day on that route, it leaves at 7:15pm and gets into Lincoln at 7:30am tomorrow! And there's a "no bikes" warning on the website.

My dad reckons I'm making excuses not to go.......

No, it doesn't.

It looks slightly grey out now and there's a big bumble bee in the garden. Perhaps I should stay in?

I mean, accidents can strike at anytime!

I went for a ride. Not to the coast mind but along Lincolns boring network of flat cycle tracks

I did however find an encampment of hillbillys living near the river (east of town). They were frightening in an amusing sort of way.....

The whole ride just reminded me never to live here long term ๐Ÿ™
