Does any body know of a frame builder/welder who can deal with aluminium tubing and CNC machined parts? Ideally with their own frame jig etc.

I cracked the chainstay on my aluminium road bike, I was gonna bin the lot as it wouldn't have been worth transferring stuff over but asked around and took to an exhaust guy in Brecon who works with aluminium all the time. He said he guaranteed the strength of the weld but wouldn't take responsibility the heat effect on the overall shape of the frame
Someone else cleaned the paint off and he did the weld, then the first guy touched up the paint
All fixed for £40
However sounds like you need something a bit more than that!
I can weld aluminium and have a frame jig but, as mentioned above, heat treatment can be an issue. I'd need more details to say whether I can do what you want so feel free to drop me an email - matt@18bikes.co.uk
