Did some riding in the Lakes this weekend with a a friend and on Monday we did the Altura Trail in Whinlatter, I must say I was impressed.
I am not a massive fan of Trail centres and prefer natural stuff, but had a great time.
However one section sprung out at me as a bit mad? It was on the North Section of the Red when climbing up there was an almost shear drop of 15-20m to one side. Now is this juts bad planning? Its not very safe. I mean, even the most experianced riders could slip and not be able to come unclipped quick enough and fall and really damage themselves?
Anyways, a thumbs up for the rest of it, including the new blue, ill deffo be heading back there ๐
