First outing today for new Altura Extreme - top piece of kit. Any tips out there on how to keep it claen and waterproof. I guess grangers wash and reproofer ? Strangely, the label says don't tumble dry, but I know Grangers works best this way ?
I've had mine for well over a year and it hasn't needed reproofing yet.
I was told the no tumble drying bit was because there is no standard for tumble dryer heat settings, so Altura can't guarantee the jacket as one cool tumble dry could be very hot for another make....bit of a ramble but I think that makes sense!

that does make sense - i was wondering about the whole heat thing as my tumble dryer has no variable heat setting.
so what do you wash it with ?
I have just done my Montane jacket in the Nikwax Techwash and TX Direct re-proofer. Came up lovely 🙂
