[#4269500]

Tempted by the new raw finish Unit as a second bike for when the weather is grotty. Everything seems to stack up but just wondering if there are any alternatives that I haven't thought of. Got to be around the £800 mark, but quite happy to build it up myself if there's a frame only option and 29er. The others that crossed my mind are Genesis Fortitude (but i understand that is built around a weird length fork so you're buggered if you decide you actually want to use front sus) or a Swift. Although with the latter the bits will have to be sourced through the classifieds otherwise it'll get too spendy. Not a fan of the On One finish even though they ride well from 456 experience.

I'm liking the look of that new Cannondale at £599

Or, if the size suits these are cheap

That Cannondale does look nice.....and it seems good value, almost too good. Tried to find it on Cannondale's website but its not there yet, or at least it wasn't yesterday.
