[Closed] Alternative chainrings for an xtr m970 chainset please....

hi all,

i have got a 2nd hand bike off a friend and it has the above chainset on it - i reckon it wont be long before a new set of inner / middle rings are needed

i refuse to pay the xtr prices - any suggestions ? middleburn? or would a slx / xt ring fit?

Ask on the "wanted" if anyone has any to sell. I picked up an almost unused Xtr middle ring and cassette last week for about half RRP.

TA make a set of rings for M970. I think they're called Simic or something similar.

If this was in the wanted section I would have said, I have a complete set of rings and open to reasonable offers they are unused, email in profile.

Any 104/64 BCD will fit, as long as you have some 2mm spacers for the granny ring. Google it.
